Teen girl approached in east-end Toronto, asked for phone number: Cops

Police said that a man driving a black Dodge Charger approached a teen girl as she was walking to school in the city’s east-end Upper Beaches neighbourhood and asked for her phone number and Instagram details.

Toronto Police received a call for a suspicious incident on Wednesday in the Kingston Rd.-Main St. area.

The man continued to follow the 16-year-old girl after asking for her phone details, police said.

He is described as brown and 20 to 30 years old with short dark hair, short full beard and dark eyes. He was possibly wearing a dark blue hoodie and may speak with a slight accent.

The vehicle is described as a newer-model black Dodge Charger four-door sedan with tinted windows and licence-plate cover and chrome rims. The vehicle appears to be very clean.

Police have released a photo of the vehicle.
